Opro Instant Custom Fit Shamrock Mouthguard

Opro Instant Custom Fit Shamrock Mouthguard

Subtle, clean and unmistakably Irish. The Opro Instant Custom Fit Shamrock Mouthguard pairs a white guard and green edging with a green shamrock on the front, and backs that look up with OPRO’s most advanced home-fitting technology. If you want a gumshield that nods to home without shouting about it, this is the one.

Fitted at home, in minutes

There is no need for a dentist appointment or a long wait. Using OPRO’s patented Impression Tray, you simply heat the guard in freshly boiled water for 30 seconds, bite into the tray for 60 seconds and then cool it in cold water for 30 seconds. The tray uses the pressure of your own jaw to press the guard closely around your teeth and gums, so the finished fit is far more precise than a standard boil-and-bite guard. Let it set in the fridge for 15 minutes, or for an hour at room temperature, before your first session.

Serious protection, all-day comfort

Inside the Opro Instant Custom Fit Shamrock Mouthguard is a multi-layer, dental-grade construction with built-in antimicrobial technology. The firmer outer layers help absorb and spread the force of an impact, and a soft gel layer sits against your teeth for comfort. The close fit keeps the guard locked in place when you are hit, so you can stay relaxed, keep your jaw closed and concentrate on what you are doing.

Built for performance

Because the guard is slim and secure, it is easier to breathe through, easier to talk with and easier to keep in for a full session. Fighters can take instructions from their corner and grab a drink between rounds without taking it out, and team-sport players can communicate on the pitch without a bulky guard getting in the way.

Remouldable, with OPRO’s dental warranty

Not happy with the first fit? OPRO mouthguards can be remoulded. The Opro Instant Custom Fit Shamrock Mouthguard was developed with sports dentist Dr Anthony Lovat, is made in OPRO’s UK laboratory and includes OPRO’s dental warranty for added reassurance.

Perfect for combat and contact sports

Wear the Opro Instant Custom Fit Shamrock Mouthguard for boxing, MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing and BJJ, or for rugby, GAA, hockey and other contact sports. This is the adult size, suitable for ages 10 and up. For younger athletes, see our full range of gum shields, which includes junior sizes.

The OPRO difference

OPRO has spent years developing mouthguards with dental experts and elite athletes, and its guards are used by professional fighters, top rugby teams and hundreds of schools and clubs. The Instant Custom-Fit range brings that experience to a guard you can fit yourself at home, giving you a much better fit than a standard gumshield for a fraction of the price of a dentist-made one.

Looking after it

After each use, rinse the guard under cool running water and let it dry fully before putting it back in its case. Keep it away from hot water, dishwashers, direct sunlight and hot cars, as heat can warp the fit. Replace it if it becomes damaged or starts to feel loose.
