Opro Instant Custom Fit Ireland Mouthguard

Opro Instant Custom Fit Ireland Mouthguard

Wear the tricolour with pride. The Opro Instant Custom Fit Ireland Mouthguard combines a green, white and orange design with OPRO’s most advanced home-fitting technology, giving you serious protection that looks the part in the ring, on the mats or on the pitch. It is a great choice for Irish fighters, club players and anyone who wants their gumshield to show where they’re from.

A custom fit in about two minutes

The Instant Custom-Fit range is built around OPRO’s patented Impression Tray. Heat the mouthguard in freshly boiled water for 30 seconds, bite into the tray for 60 seconds, then cool it in cold water for 30 seconds. The tray uses the natural pressure of your jaw to mould the guard tightly over your teeth and gums, giving a fit that is much closer to a dentist-made guard than a standard boil-and-bite. For the best result, leave it in the fridge for 15 minutes or at room temperature for an hour before you use it.

Protection you can rely on

The Opro Instant Custom Fit Ireland Mouthguard uses a multi-layer, dental-grade construction with built-in antimicrobial technology. The outer layers absorb and spread the force of a punch, kick or collision, while a soft gel inner layer keeps the guard comfortable against your teeth and gums for full training sessions and fights. Because it fits so closely, it stays in place when you take a shot, so you can keep your mouth closed, stay relaxed and focus on your game plan.

Breathe, talk and drink more easily

A bulky, loose gumshield makes it hard to breathe properly and tempting to take out between rounds. A secure, slim fit means you can breathe, talk to your coach and take a drink without fiddling with your guard. That makes a real difference in hard sparring, competition and long team-sport matches.

Remouldable and backed by OPRO

If the fit isn’t right the first time, OPRO mouthguards can be remoulded. The Opro Instant Custom Fit Ireland Mouthguard was developed with sports dentist Dr Anthony Lovat, is made in OPRO’s UK laboratory, and comes with OPRO’s dental warranty for extra peace of mind.

Which sports is it for?

The Opro Instant Custom Fit Ireland Mouthguard is ideal for boxing, MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, as well as contact team sports like rugby, GAA and hockey. This is the adult size, suitable for ages 10 and over. If you are buying for a younger athlete, have a look at our other gum shields for junior options.

Why choose OPRO?

OPRO is one of the best-known names in sports mouthguards, trusted by professional fighters, national teams and hundreds of schools and clubs. Its guards are designed by dental experts and tested for comfort as well as protection, which is why so many athletes stick with OPRO once they have tried one. If you want a proper fit without the cost and wait of a dentist-made guard, the Instant Custom-Fit range is the next best thing.

Caring for your mouthguard

Rinse your mouthguard under cool running water after every use and let it air-dry completely before storing it in its case. Avoid hot water, the dishwasher and leaving it in direct sunlight or a hot car, as heat can change the shape of the guard. Replace your mouthguard if it becomes damaged or no longer fits snugly.
